Rachel Kline Art About

For the upcoming June Art About, we will feature Rachel Kline’s series of landscapes entitled “Roadwork”. Her paintings showcase the expansiveness of the California highway system, with its brilliant blue skies and sun drenched concrete, lonely rest stops and motel swimming pools. The pervading note of the series is one of calm, even nostalgia, as we watch the Central Valley sun set on a lone swimmer, or the moon rise over an empty parking lot. Her work is a tonic for the frustration we usually experience when we see signs for “roadwork”.

Join us from 6pm on June 10th to celebrate these unique paintings. Light refreshments will be served and Rachel Kline will be present to talk about her work. We look forward to seeing you!

These are beautiful! How big are the paintings? And, do you have a price list?
